1 L (Can’t)
As a result of his performance in the Death Note series, L is widely regarded as one of the most astute anime characters of all time. L displayed remarkable powers of observation and deduction; if not for the intricate workings of the Death Note, he would have cornered Light a lot sooner. L and Lelouch are two quiet personalities, yet they could build a real rivalry if they faced one other in a competition.
2 Shin(Can)
Shin is an inspiring and ferociously ambitious young fighter who dreams of becoming China’s most powerful military leader. Because of his stubbornness and resolve, he has a fighting chance against anyone. Shin is a formidable fighter, but his lack of experience with battle strategy and tactics puts him at a severe disadvantage when facing off against someone like Lelouch. The tiniest of advantages can be turned into a landslide triumph by Lelouch, who is a master of tactics.
3 Light Yagami (Can’t)
After acquiring the Death Note, Light Yagami sets out to prove his mettle as the new world’s deity by eliminating criminals one by one. Eventually, word of Light’s deeds spreads to the police, and they begin to close in. From then on, he and the detectives assigned to his case engage in a fierce mental and physical struggle. Light’s extraordinary intelligence is on full display throughout Death Note, despite his many mistakes. Two of anime’s renounced geniuses, Lelouch vi Britannia and Light Yagami, go head to head, but Light comes out on top.
4 Arslan (Can)
After his father, King Andragoras, was deceitfully betrayed by one of his loyal advisors, Arslan became the crown prince of Pars, a kingdom conquered by the enemy. Arslan is a young man who will risk all to make the world a better place for everyone.
Daryun and Narsus are two of Arslan’s most trusted advisors. They have both shaped him into a better person and a more skilled fighter and tactician. Arslan has a lot of potential, but right now Lelouch is too smart for him.
5 Shikamaru Nara (CAN’T)
Shikamaru presently serves as an advisor to Hokage Naruto Uzumaki of the Leaf Village Hidden in the Leaves. Since he was a little child, Shikamaru has demonstrated extraordinary intelligence and prowess. Young Shikamaru began playing shogi with his father, Shikaku, and quickly proved to be an outstanding strategist. It was because of this that Shikamaru’s mind flourished, and he eventually became a shogi grandmaster. A shogi match between Shikamaru and Lelouch would be one of the most exciting matchups in history, worthy of its own anime.
6 Naruto Uzumaki (Can)
Even though he wasn’t the brightest bulb at the Ninja Academy, Naruto eventually became the head of his village, fulfilling his lifelong desire. The hamlet flourished under his leadership, evolving into a more modern and cultured community that finally experienced the benefits of peace. Naruto’s leadership proves he’s smarter than most people gave him credit for, and for that he deserves high respect. Even so, Naruto isn’t the brightest candle in the candlestick, and he’d be easily fooled by Lelouch.
