You may be eager to view the prequel film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 at home, even though it won’t be shown in theatres outside of Japan until 2021 and won’t arrive in the United States until March 2022.
While the next season of the TV show won’t premiere until next year, the film will be available to watch for the first time in North America on Crunchyroll this Wednesday.
The film is based on the manga series by Gege Akutami and follows Yuta Okkotsu, a young high school student who is cursed. It was produced by Mappa Studios and Toho Animation.

Whenever Yuta is alone, he hears Rika Orimoto’s voice and thinks about how much he misses his companion after her death. Because of how frequently Rika’s presence either rescues him or places him in dangerous situations, he eventually turns to sorcery to gain mastery over her.
