The title, synopsis, and preview trailer for Episode 9 of the Call of the Night anime have all been released. The episode, titled “No Fair,” will premiere on September 1 and is based on the manga’s 29th chapter, which is included in the third volume.
Vampires Seri Kikyo and Nazuna Nanakusa, protagonist Ko Yamori, and a brand-new character are all depicted in the teaser photos. Judging by the above and the preview trailer, the next episode will adapt chapters 26-29 of the manga for animation.
It turns out that Ko and Seri will be attending a karaoke night together. She claims a man she finds annoying and who has romantic interests in her is following and harassing her. The Call of the Night manga by Kotoyama has been serialised in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday. On September 15, 2022, the thirteenth volume will be released. The manga is titled “Yofukashi no Uta,” which is the Japanese title of a song by the band Creepy Nuts.

Songs “Daten” and “Yofukashi no Uta” (Opening and Closing Theme Songs) are being played by the band. LIDENFILMS, under Tomoyuki Itamura’s supervision, is animating the manga’s adaptation.
