Despite how implausible it sounds, the vast majority of our favourite characters actually have canon birthdays. Please don’t take my word for it. In many cases, a simple online search will yield a wealth of biographical details on your favourite fictional characters.
These thoughtful additions show the author put a lot of effort into making the characters believable. Characters often have traits that correspond to their zodiac signs, though this is not always the case.
Feel free to form your own opinion as we look at the anime characters born in December who share the signs of Sagittarius and Capricorn.
Here are my picks for the best December-born anime characters. After looking at a number of web resources that track birthdays and rankings, I’ve compiled a list of the top ten or so anime characters (male and female) who were born this month.
1. Hinata Hyuuga
Hinata was formerly destined to rule the Hyuuga clan, but her father disowned her because her soft nature made him think she would be a poor leader. Hinata manages to avoid being a stereotypical shoujo cliche while still developing into a formidable leader, ninja, and mother.

2. Rin And Yukio Okumura
These two brothers, who are the devil’s offspring, are out to kill their dad. Though they are both students at the Academy of the True Cross, Yukio’s academic prowess has earned him a position as the exorcist course instructor. Due to the fact that exorcists are tasked with killing demons and half-human monsters, the brothers need to be wary of every step they take lest they end themselves in even more dangerous situations.
3. Misa Amane
Misa, as she’s known by her legion of fans, is a young model who can’t help but be fascinated by Light Yagami and his work with the Death Note. Light’s selfishness leads him to influence Misa emotionally into committing a crime so that he may divert L’s attention away from the situation. As a result, government officials catch Misa and torture him in an effort to learn the truth about the unexplained killings that have plagued the country. She can’t fathom a future in which Light isn’t by her side.
5. Levi Ackerman
Levi, the son of a prostitute, is raised on the streets and learns to be a beast there. With Erwin Smith’s guidance, he overcomes his troubled upbringing to become the Special Operations Squad’s captain and find meaning in protecting the helpless.
Levi Ackerman, a Capricorn, is a natural leader who can keep his cool under pressure, come up with effective strategies, and motivate his team to carry them out. Despite his cold demeanour, he cares deeply about every single human being, even if they are Titans. It’s hard not to be inspired by Levi’s personal journey and professional dedication.
6. Megumi Tadokoro
No contest… It’s official: Megumi Tadokora is December’s waifu. Megumi, who aspires to be a chef, studies at the highly regarded Ttsuki Culinary Academy. She seems shy and uncertain of herself in the first few episodes of the anime. Overcoming these insecurities does not compromise Megumi’s commitment to doing good and helping others, though, and she never lets her confidence level rise to the detriment of her essential ideals.
In this food shnen, Megumi Tadokora represents the very essence of hospitality. It’s easy to see why some of her followers consider her to be their ideal spouse. Sad to say, Megumi Tadokora, has her sights set on Sma Yukihira.
7. Earl Ciel Phantomhive
Black Butler’s main character, 13-year-old Ciel Phantomhive, has already proven himself to be the series’s cunning protagonist.
When Ciel and his twin brother were little, their murders sold them to a religious cult. Ciel makes a deal with a demon to take out his vengeance on the world in exchange for the blood of his brother. From the ashes of his life, Ciel and his “black butler” rebuild the family mansion and their money. To realise his ambition of owning a toy store, Ciel creates the Funtom Corporation. While advancing in his career, he never loses sight of his goal of vengeance against those who wronged his family.

8. Lelouch vi Britannia
Ciel Phantomhive, the protagonist of Black Butler, has already established himself as the series’ shrewd protagonist despite being only 13 years old.
They sold Ciel and his twin brother to a religious sect when they were quite little. In exchange for his brother’s blood, Ciel strikes a contract with a demon to exact revenge on the world. Ciel and his “black butler” pick up the pieces of his life and start over, restoring the family estate and their fortune. Ciel establishes the Funtom Corporation in order to fulfil his lifelong dream of opening a toy shop. While making progress in his professional life, he never loses sight of his ultimate objective of vengeance against those who injured his family.
9. Megumin
She is Chubby with a penchant for drama and an out-there character. Megumin, who was rescued by a more experienced magician, has decided to specialise in explosive magic, which is fitting given that fire is Sagittarius’s element. Unfortunately, she can only utilise this ability once before becoming too exhausted to continue and will have to rest. Megumin is the spoiled little sister and emotional centre of Kazuma’s adventure crew. For this reason, she is among my top picks for anime heroines.
10. Mai Sakurajima
She is a well-known actor and model who currently attends Minegahara High. Mai is empathetic, bright, courteous, and reasonable.
Given the conditions, Mai’s peers treat her as though she does not exist. Mai, who likes to remain unnoticed, dresses as a bunny whenever she visits the school library, but this time someone takes note. As a result of this unexpected meeting, Mai embarks on a path of self-improvement and discovery.
