Anime is a type of Japanese animation that has caught the attention of people all over the world. Anime has left a lasting mark on cultures and entertainment all over the world with its unique art style and animation, as well as with its common tropes and themes.
Everyone who has watched their favourite anime show or movie has thought about what it would be like to live in the world that the animators and artists created. If given the chance, every anime fan would want to visit their favourite anime world, whether it’s for the beautiful scenery, the magic-filled worlds, or the chance to get superpowers.
‘Naruto’
Naruto is an anime about a young boy named Naruto who aspires to become the Hokage of his village and a master ninja who can use his chakra powers to perform magical abilities and fighting techniques known as Justus.
Any traveller to this world would be entering a world where magic exists, albeit under a different label. Visit Naruto’s world if you want to learn how to conduct your jutsus, like creating clones of oneself, spitting out fireballs, and constructing powerful illusions. The fact that you may call forth a helpful and cute tracker dog is icing on the cake.
‘My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia is an anime series set in a world not too dissimilar from our own, with one major exception. Approximately eighty per cent of the human population has some sort of “quirk,” or special talent, that gives them special powers. This oddity may manifest as anything as simple as the ability to levitate a few tiny things or as fantastic as the command of fire and ice.
The trip would be well worth it if you could see this realm and pick up your peculiarity. Just picture yourself as a superhero with superpowers, or as someone who possesses a quirky trait that would prove useful in your everyday struggles. As if that weren’t enough, there are also some great clashes to see, both inside and outside of the classroom. It would also entail dealing with supervillains regularly, but fear not: All-Might and the rest of the My Hero Academia heroes will be there to rescue the day!
It’s been a year since Square Enix released Actraiser Renaissance on all platforms. This was the remake of Actraiser (SNES) – view the attached comparisons.

‘Dragon Ball Z’
Anime classics Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z are set in a world where anthropomorphic animals and humans cohabit, aliens visit and leave, and seven mystical dragon balls can be gathered together to grant wishes. Goku, a fighter born on another planet who now lives on Earth, is the protagonist of this show about a man who trains in martial arts and develops extraordinary skills, including flight, teleportation, and super strength.
There is a lot to see and do in the Dragon Ball Z universe that might fill up a vacation. Fights to the death between humans and godlike aliens, the ability to fly through the mastery of one’s inner ki, and even the possibility of befriending talking animals.
‘Pokémon’
Ahhh, Pokémon. Many people have fond memories of their youth spent playing Pokémon games. Both the game and its anime adaptation became massive hits throughout the world. The Pokémon anime brought the game to life, giving fans a glimpse into the Pokémon world and a taste of what it would be like to have their very own magical creature to train, battle, and befriend.
The Pokémon are what sell this world to me. A trip here is worthwhile because you can adopt, raise, and teach hundreds of mystical animals to become your best companions. A dog or cat as a pet is nice, but how about a dragon to take you to the office, or a whale the size of a house to take you across the ocean? No one could enter Pokémon’s world and not be quickly captivated by its unique magic.
‘Fairy Tail’
Fairy Tail follows Lucy and her pals as they embark on magical and mysterious journeys mostly in the Earthland kingdom of Fiore. Those who practise magic in this world belong to groups called “guilds,” where they work together as a team to complete contracts and tasks. Each member of the guild is endowed with extraordinary magical abilities, such as the ability to control ice, call forth magical entities to fight on your behalf or even possess the capabilities of a dragon. There will be even more amazing events to see now that a sequel series is in the works.
To get started in this anime universe, pick a flavour of magic and a group to join based on how your character would function best. The ability to cast your spells and control your magical abilities is appealing, but the actual draw of the Fairy Tail universe would be the great friendships to be made at a magic guild.
‘Fullmetal Alchemist’
Not everyone will feel comfortable in Fullmetal Alchemist’s universe. The anime’s main setting, the country of Amestris, is perpetually at war. In contrast, there is a form of magic known as alchemy that can be practised by any human being. Alchemists have the power to influence and alter their environment by using the law of equivalent exchange. Edward and Alphonse, the anime’s main heroes, employ alchemy to fight evil and serve their military while also undertaking quests to recover their bodies after being injured in an alchemical accident.
The possibility of employing alchemy is, of course, the main draw. In the programme, alchemists have the power to mend broken items, control the elements, and concoct explosive weapons to use against their foes. However, the concept of equivalent exchange states that for every activity, an equal price must be paid. Consider the equal cost of a life, for instance, before attempting to bring the dead back to life.

‘Cowboy Bebop’
There are bounty hunters, spaceships, and trips to other planets. Science fiction fans with an appetite for action will find their dreams fulfilled in Cowboy Bebop. This anime takes place shortly after Earth has been colonised and Spike and Jet are travelling bounty hunters. The journey provides glimpses of terraformed planets’ imperfect lives.
To get a feel for this anime universe, one would do well to either purchase passage on one of the spaceships circling the solar system or take a ride on one for free. It is a pleasure to take in the sights of the various cityscapes spread throughout each planet and its satellites. New space explorers should exercise caution in each city’s seedier parts since the anime depicts a future that is far from the utopia we may aspire for. Yet, if you ever want to leave your blue marble, you really must visit this futuristic world.
‘Kiki’s Delivery Service
Kiki’s Delivery Service, an anime film mostly set in the picturesque coastal city of Koriko, is about a young witch in training who works at a local bakery. Due to her newfound rarity, the witch must complete her training while also establishing her reputation in the city.
The city in this anime is stunning, and that’s the first thing a newcomer would notice. Kiki lives in a beautiful city on the shores of a bay, surrounded by breathtaking surroundings. The bakery where Kiki works and the delectable bread and treats it produces are the primary reasons anyone would want to take a vacation in this anime. While the rules of this world’s magic remain mysterious, it is clear that magic is present. Although it could be genetic, the city’s natural charm and beauty would be enough to entice any tourist.

‘Konosuba’
Kazuma Sat, the protagonist, dies embarrassingly and is reborn in a mystical parallel universe. A mystical ‘point and skill’ card grants the player character experience and access to new powers as they level up in an RPG-style universe.
There is amazing magic in this perilous world. One can become almost anything one chooses to be, whether a mage, a warrior or a thief. Those seeking a new beginning, as well as avid watchers of anime and players of role-playing games, should consider a trip to the land of Konosuba.
‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’
Numerous Millennials have fond memories of Avatar: The Last Airbender, a Nickelodeon staple. Aang, the Avatar, master of the four elements, sets out on a mission to become fully enlightened and defeat the evil Fire Lord in a world where some people have the power to control air, water, earth, or fire. Along the trip, viewers get to witness the spectacular vistas of this world and the astounding abilities that “benders” possess. With a live-action version on the horizon, audiences will be able to see how regular people would adapt to and live in the Avatar universe.
Though purists could argue otherwise, there are enough anime conventions here for this to be safely classified as such. Ba Sing Se, the frigid capital of the Northern Water Tribe, and the four great Air Nomad Temples can be seen by travellers to this realm. If you are lucky, your travels here will lead to your transformation into a bender, granting you mastery of one of the four elements. The Avatar universe is one you shouldn’t miss.
