AK 61 is the third film Ajith has done with H. Vinoth. Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios are the producers of this film. According to rumours, AK 61 will be known as Vallamai.
Post-production on the film is now underway and will wrap up soon. The first look poster for AK 61/Vallamai is expected to be released in the second week of September 2022, according to the most recent information.
Originally scheduled for release around festive times like Diwali and Pongal in December, the film’s release date has been pushed back to sometime around January 2023.
The publication of AK 61 is uncertain due to a number of factors, including a lack of funding and Ajith’s decision to take time off for personal reasons, which slowed production.

This trend can be seen in both of Ajith’s most recent films, which were produced by the same company. AK 61/Vallamai, a film touted as a “bank robbery thriller,” is now under production in Hyderabad.
In addition to Ghibran, the film features the vocal talents of Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, GM Sundar, Veera, John Kokken, Mahanadhi Shankar, Ajay, an actor from the Telugu language, and Pooja, an actress from the language.
